Accused US serial killer pleads not guilty
"CHICAGO (AFP) - A 59-year-old former home security company worker accused of being a serial killer known as "BTK" -- blind, torture, kill -- pleaded not guilty at a court appearance.
Dennis Rader appeared in court in Wichita, Kansas, charged with murdering at least 10 people between 1974 and 1991. Seven of the victims were killed between 1974 and 1977.

"The court will enter a plea of not guilty. I'll set this for a jury trial on June 27, 9:00 in the morning. Thank you very much," District Court Judge Gregory Waller told the hearing."
