LPDC invites you to join us for the monthly chatroom for Leonard Peltier.
Our special guest this month is Co-Director of LPDC, Bob Robideau.
Bob Robideau, a member of the American Indian Movement, was charged along with Dino Butler and Leonard Peltier in the Jumping Bull compound shoot-out in Pine Ridge on June 25, 1975. A Federal Jury acquitted him on grounds of self-defense, finding that his participation in the shoot-out was justified given the climate of fear that existed. On February 6, 1976, Leonard Peltier was illegally extradited from Canada and was falsely charged for the shooting. Leonard Pelter who has served more than 30 years, remains a political prisoner to this day.
The LPDC continues the struggle and fight every day for Leonard's freedom.
Bob will share his role with LPDC and discuss the TRUE story of what really happened 31 years ago.
Toni Zeiden, Co-Director of LPDC will also share updates about Leonard and the upcoming F.O.I.A. appeals.
