1. It's basically another battery.

It uses latent energy generated from a fixed source like an electric car.

It takes energy (IE electricity) to compress the air into liquid form that will then be put into the on-board storage tanks.

Now, if you generate the electricity needed to run the compressor from solar and/or wind, you'd have something.

Ain't no arguement in that it is a very cool way to motivate. I dig the idea.
