Sunday 1/4: I worked out today--did you?
I just finished a 35 minute step workout. I used to do this routine on a 6" step, but I'm so out of shape I started on a 4" step. My first fitness goal? Get to where I can do this routine on a 6" step.

What activity did you do?

1. Yes, I did.
I did an hour on the elliptical, in the early aftn. Much better to exercise first thing in the morning.

You had asked me if I had the machine in front of a tv. Yes, and while I'm exercising I'm watching DVD's

of Supernatural. Will investigate hot yoga this week. Have a friend who raves about it, says it

helps with weight loss (don't see how) and flexibility.

2. Walked almost 5 miles
Something light after yesterday's run, which is getting closer to my faster times from early December now that there aren't cookies at work every day!

3. Those cookies were weighing you down, huh?
;)

How many miles did you run? How long does it take for you to walk 5 miles?

5. Not just the cookies
I got whatever was going around the office around the same time so 1 week of virtually no activity + cookies = BAD. It's a reminder of why I don't keep goodies in my house- if I know it's there I'll eat it. And when I'm sick it's worse.
I run (with some walking up steep hills) 8 miles in about 88 minutes. Saturday was 94 since I'm not getting as far up those hills and was getting sore at the end. I don't time myself when I walk. At this time of year it's mainly to get some sunlight and I'm not going for speed.
