Landscape Oils

Here's an oil on Masonite I was commissioned to do. She gave me a picture reference to use I believe is out there circulating online. So some may recognize the Light House. I changed a few things from the photo reference (more than 30%), but the rest is pretty close to the original composition and color.

There is nothing better than being paid to practice. I only wish I could do this full time and on my own as a full time career. I would eat, drink and sleep paint. Hopefully someday and a zillion dollars after paying off my student loans, I'll be Free to do so!!!!

2. That reads quite well.

Actually, there's a lot of vitality and purity of colour; no dirt, similar in luminance to acrylic. Some quiet interludes and changes in temperature when pondered. Congratulations.
