Birds that frequent my porch
Originally posted in the Lounge; it was suggested I post here, too.

The one of the robin is not a good shot but they refuse to let me get a clear view of them despite the nest being right outside my balcony.

Canon XSi with 250mm zoom in bright daylight.

Here are some of the birds that pester me as I water my plants.

Finches (these are hatchlings):

With one of their parents:

Not the clearest perspective, but there's a robin with a worm on his way to his nest:

And of course, Anna's hummingbirds. These are immature males.

1. Nice photos!!
I love photos of birds. (all animals)

I especially love the last one and the first two...almost as if the bird was sitting for a portrait.

3. Your compositions are just beautiful.
The bird portraits are gorgeous and the backgrounds are vibrant enough to stand on their own.

9. Beautiful pictures. Love the Bokeh.
Yesterday I photographed a goldfinch in some Black Eyed Susan. I couldn't find the bird because of its coloration. Is the Goldfinch made for the Black Eyed Susan? I finally found the bird, but it blends in so well.
