For my friend CC: Another photo of the bowl that you will inherit, it's in the will

One of my playing around photos for the Backlit Theme.
I seriously doubt I will use it, but reserve the right.

Which, by the way, is a similar thing that a friend of mine a local painter of renown said to me the other day about a painting of hers that I love but cannot even think about buying.
I had been downtown, saw it (again) in a gallery. Took a photo. Had lunch with her a few days later and showed her the photo.

She said I can have it for free, and only have to return it if she asks for it.
Now I had to make room. It is 5.5 ' x 6'.

I'll post the photo if anyone asks me.
I can't believe my luck sometimes.

2. I want to see this painting.
I still love the bowl but more for what you do with it in your photos than for itself. Not sure my kitchen could ever give it the light it needs since it lack any windows.

Would love to see your photo of the painting and can't wait to see where you find to hang it.

3. CC and Dixiegrrrrl - here you go:
What the artist says is that she painted a dream. She was floating in a river and dissolved into the atoms of her being and merged with the water and nature, a comfortable and happy dream.

Hope you like it. I left in the side of the window to give you a feel for the SIZE

here are some more of her more recent works on the web, she teaches art at High Point University
