More Flowers of Spring

I thought I'd post these before the Spring contest submissions start. At that point, I expect we'll start seeing a lot of flower shots that are much better than these.

3. For a while...

Thanks. For a while, the second photo was my leading candidate for the Spring contest. If I recall, when I took that shot, I was testing out a "new" lens that day. (New to me but it was a 20+ year old Minolta lens.) Needless to say, I'm quite happy with the lens (it's the old style 35-105mm Minolta lens in case you're wondering).
