Calling all you folks who are creative at naming...
I'm going to have a few photographs in an exhibition next week. So far all I have are boring names (like sunrise, sunset, cactus flower). I'm looking for suggestions for names for these photos:

Number 1

Number 2

Number 3

Number 4

(Number 3 and Number 4 are the same sky, taken about 10 minutes apart)

9. If you're identifying location,
I think it's in the same part of the country. (It's Ghost Ranch in New Mexico)

3. Hmmm...
#1: Crytalized Cactus
#2: El Mesa De Oro (The Golden Mesa)
#3: Golden Skyway (Corny, but all I can come up with)
#4: Blue View

It's hard not knowing either the place or the photographer. Makes naming the shots an interesting exercise. :hi:

6. More info
The place is Ghost Ranch outside of Abiquiu, New Mexico (Georgia O'Keefe land - I think the mountain she considered hers (the Pedernal) is just off the left in picture #4). Taken last February at a LGBT/"church" retreat - to be shown at an exhibition at a "church" gathering (~1500 folks from the same "church," not specifically LGBT) next week.

7. Cool!
I'm a UU clergy person (well, just graduated from seminary, looking for a congregation). The local Ministers' Association has held retreats at Ghost Ranch in the past.

Rock on, GLBTQ-lovin' Sister Toad! :headbang:

10. We had our marriage legally recognized a bit over a year ago
by a UU chaplain in Victoria, BC. Good luck finding a congregation.

13. I was actually going to say "Fire in the Sky"...
...but you don't have a complementary photo that could be titled "Smoke on the Water." ;-)

16. Don't get hokey with the names
Give them a sense of location. And keep it simple.
