1. I like the second one especially.
It looks so ... volcanic. :)

2. I'm likin' the 2nd one, too.
they're all beautiful, but that second shot reminds me of those old hand-colored photos.

3. Here goes:
1. I'm partial to old photos and I like the way the black edges combine with the silhouetted foreground. The clouds are quite dramatic and interesting. I think it's a very pretty picture.

2. A much more powerful shot. It looks like Mt Shasta is erupting (is it still active?) and reminds me of Mt Doom.

3. I like the way the branches frame the mountain peak. Except, the foreground seems a bit too cluttered and distracting. I think it might work better if there were fewer branches.

4. OK - here are my reactions
Number one is beautiful, yet the amount of dark around the edges distracts me. I would love to see the dark bleed be reduced by 2/3 rds, to just be a hint, not so overpowering.

Number two a stunner! I would like to see a different crop (am not even saying I would end up preferring it, just would like to see it)
I would like to see the center of the photo to be the lowest point of the negative arc on the bottom of the photo, and the strangely formed cloud at the top off center right cropped off.

Number three
What Tindalos said.

I envy in a good way that you were able to be there to take the photos.
Beautiful.

5. The vignetting in the first one is pretty daring
and really successful. Not many images seem to lend themselves to this kind of thing, but this one sure does.

Second one's pretty cool too. Some kind of tone mapping with a little grain added?
