Question for iPod users
I have an iPod Touch that I have filled with a wide variety of music, mainly Opera. My problem isn't with the Touch, it's with finding the right earbuds that can do a decent job reproducing classical music.

Most of the ones I've tried do fine with rock, alternative etc. but do a sub par job with classical. I've burned through close to a dozen brands of earbuds (I despise having headphones sitting on my head, so I've avoided those but may not have a good alternative, I know) and while I've come close I still am not completely satisfied with what I've tried.

I'd like to avoid spending $300 on a pair of Shure cans, and I was hoping you all could recommend something in the $150 and under range that you're happy with.

The two pairs I'm using most now are Bose in-ear buds, and I don't care for them. The sound reproduction seems tinny to me, the midrange is terrible and on top of it they aren't comfortable. They're actually good when I'm listening to rock, but not good at all for Opera.

Strange to say that the best earbuds I've found so far for classical are Sennheiser CX300-B that I found on sale at Amazon.com for thirty bucks. There isn't a lot of richness to the sound (although they're better - to me anyway - than the Bose in this area) but at least they do a good job with midrange and bass. They're comfortable and so far have been pretty sturdy.

I've been on 'the google' trying to get recommendations for earbuds specifically for classical music and there isn't much out there. Maybe the experts here can share what they've been using and what the pluses and minuses are.
