1. This was great!
Another worthwhile read from WEL. Kos is getting rahther full of himself lately. He does need to be taken down a peg or two.

3. Excellent.
It's sad that some Deaniacs will continue to go out of their way to portray their leader as some Green or radical liberal, when if you listen to his comments he is centrist Democrat. Some big name Deaniacs like Kos give the rest of us mild-mannered, yellow dog Democrat Deaniacs (like me) a bad name. I supported Dean because I liked his record, but I supported him during the primaries because it looked like he was going to win. I will vote for any candidate with a record of consitently supporting Democratic values. To me, Dean and Kerry are very similar in politics and I appreciate what they are doing. But, I am only a water boiler in this party...

5. I so wish more Deaniacs were like you
I don't disagree with Dean on a lot of things (except economically). I have no idea why his supporters think he's this hippie prophet. He's a moderate Dem.

6. I think there ARE a lot of Deaniacs like me, but
we are "the quiet majority" so to speak of the Deanaics. I think any yellow dog who looked at Dean's politics instead of his hippie image (bought by the media and some frenzied followers) would understand this. To me, Dean seemed a decent, laid back governor and doctor/family man sort of person much the way Kerry comes off as an intelliegent, decent senator/family man.

7. Dean and Kerry have a lot in common.
The main difference I see is in temperament.

Both are bright, intelligent men. Both are passionate about Democratic ideals. Both are from the Northeast. Both have independent wives. I imagine they work well together. They stand very close together on the issues--in fact I can't think of many they differ on.

8. Temperment issue is right, but it has been overemphasized.
Forget the "scream speech," he usually is pretty levelheaded.
