8. He is really doing a good job
I wonder if he ever gets tired of being so polite sometimes and wishes he could unleash his inner Masshole.

"No Judy, for the last f*cking time, I'm not gonna comment on whether or not I'm gonna run in '08. Now stop asking me that and move on to some actual news, you no-account, do-nothing, gossip mongering piece of sh*t. Sorry, no horserace crap for you today. I know you guys don't give a sh*t, but I actually have a day job and it has something to do with saving friggin Social Security from the greedy paws of Wall Street. Maybe you guys in the 'alleged' news business might want to investigate that. I want to give kids health insurance, save ANWR from drilling and try to get the WH to stop lying to the American people. And I gotta deal with morons in the media who are aching to cover a race that isn't even happening for 2 1/2 years. Get a f*cking life, you dimwit. I have better and more indepth interviews when I visit grade schools ferchrissakes."

Now you know why my husband is the politician in my family.

Oddly, my husband is the family politician as well. I haven't got the patience.

Kerry did get a nice one in with his answer to the question about * and Middle East diplomacy ("Good for him! Long overdue...The president has adopted the John Kerry policy...But should we jump up and down and be so excited in America because we're finally doing something we should have done four years ago?")

And he even got in a little dig at Mittens ("some governorships to take care of in 2006..."). Oh yeah. He's in great fighting form.

I still think the repugs don't get him at all. Hell, half the dems don't get him. They think he's all soft and liberal. Hah.

11. I hae no idea where he gets his energy
He's 60, right. Damn, I'm more than a decade younger than him and I don't have that much energy. And he is truly pissed and ready to fight. Honestly, the Pres election did wonders for him. (I know it came out badly, but damn, you'd never know it looking at the guy.)

12. I may have read this somewhere,
but I think he's so smart (and SO f***ing competitive) that the more impossible the challenge, the more it revs him up.

Honestly, he has more energy than I, for sure. You absolutely wouldn't know he's lost to look at him. And I get the feeling Judy Woodruff wants her pound of flesh. It's like it kind of pissed her off to see him so up. She tried to put him down, but failed miserably.

9. Judy Woodruff is a fucking idiot
did you see the end where she said it's been over 100 years since a losing presidential candidate has come back to run and win again. and Kerry got a puzzed look and said that is not corrent and brought up Richard Nixon. Woodruff looked clueless and Kerry explained how he lost to Kennedy and came back later to run and win. and Woodruff tried to save her ass rather than admit she was wrong by saying she meant in the next 4 years. she is so fucking stupid.

no doubt she will be an ass even more to Kerry after this. i remember when he made her look like an ass during the Primary when she kept interrupting him when he talked about issues by bringing up polls showing him behind. and he got tired of the interrupting and firmly told her to let him finish what he is saying about issues that matter.

and she was a total bitch to him everytime after that and will continue to be.

but great to see Kerry on. thanks for the link politicasista.

16. The look on his face was cute - almost like he was trying not to laugh
or grin. Especially as she didn't even realize she was wrong when he said "Nixon" She lived through both those elections (or else she's aged very badly).

I was just surprised by the amount of time they gave him. Even though some of the questions were poor, he totally controlled the interview. I'm just glad he's getting any visibility.

18. I hope I don't get nailed to the wall for this...
...but the Nixon thing is quite interesting considering the fact that both the 1960 and 2004 elections were, ah, questionable in the state that made the difference. (Not that I'm comparing JFK to Bush, ugh, terrible thought.) Kerry's bound to have thought of that too.

Anyway, yeah, Judy's a nitwit. I got thoroughly sick of her brain-deadness during the campaign.

19. yeah, but in 1960 Nixon's side cheated also
Edited on Wed Mar-16-05 12:35 AM by JI7
this is one reason why Nixon didn't publicly challenge the results of Kennedy's victory. although he did have it investigated privately.

odd thing is that Nixon didn't have to cheat and would fairly have won. but since his side cheated also it gave him less credibility to challenge Kennedy's victory and forcing him to accept it.

but even taking away the cheating of both sides. the 1960 and 2004 elections were very close. and a few changes on either side could have given the victory to any side.
