2. Thanks,
I agree with Beachmom on the elders looking like a tough crowd - not exactly a Faneuil Hall crowd. I doubt there were even the one of the Afghan equivalent of a standing ovation.

3. Nice pics!
Especially the last one. He looks very much in command..and every bit the statesman! :D

That DOES look like a tough crowd, lol, though from the second to last pic, it would appear that he was well received by the citizens he met on the street at least. :)

Thanks for posting these!

4. Nice, interesting pictures, but
they make me want even more to hear that he is back in the US. Did you guys know that he went back to Afghanistan? Just read it somewhere on the MSNBC site...

6. I really hope that he and the others can convince Kharzai to
do what is needed to let them get a legitimate government.

7. Really? I googled but can't confirm that he went back to Afghanistan.
All the recent articles (within the last hour or so) say he is in Pakistan.

8. Yes, that does look like a tough crowd in the 2nd picture. Thanks for these.
I had come across some other ones, but had not seen these.

I understand he has gone back to Afghanistan.
