Now I've done it.
http://www.dailykos.com/comments/2007/2/25/14279/2152/293#c293

As I got to the end of that post I realized I'm just not in the mood for the crap responses I will probably get, hence the attitude of the last statement. Just thought I'd share, for anyone feeling feisty.

2. There you go again telling the truth about John Kerry
I mean, who do you think you are doing that? Surely Frank Rich thought of the Afghanistan problem and Obama thought of the timetable for withdrawal from Iraq. Get with the program, OR ELSE!!

4. Rich was snarky throughout 2004
and since then has brought up every negative Kerry theme he could - ranging from blaming him for the SBVT charges (because as a candidate he had the audacity to include in his biography that he was a highly decorated officer because we can all come up with tons of examples of previous candidates who never mentioned something like a silver star or risking your life to save another. Also, it's hard to mention speaking before the Senate as a Vietnam VETERAN against the war without mentioning you served - so I guess Kerry should have just ignored 2 things he should be intensely proud of.

7. Thanks - phenomenal comment
I like your last line better than my own.

I guess I didn't spend much time at dkos yesterday, and I missed that.

9. Thanks
Well, when I made it, it wasn't that far down the page. But given all the interaction on prior comments, it got pushed down into invisible land unless one is a dedicated reader viewing all the comments on that diary.

8. Thanks to everyone. It just continues to piss me off that people will laud someone like Rich, yet
ignore or bash Kerry when he's been right all along - and supporting him could actually make a difference.

Excellent comments from everyone. Thanks!

11. Self-servingly snarky.
Rich more concerned with a third act to his book, and Dowd, preferring the deadly humor of a Bush, both were more concerned on their own after stories.

No secret the media was pushing for Bush, the GOP, and endless consolidation. Why come out for the truth, saving lives, when they will need jobs and position within the media establishment long after the four or eight years.

Then we had the media in waiting, our netroots screaming louder than the rext for readership, angry, wanting Kerry to personally duke it out in the ring, because, hey, no one else was out there criticizing and bringing truth to power. And frankly, the country didn't want to think rationally about the war, all the crimes, with more complicit help from the media.
