Oh these fundi bastards...
A little word exchange on my local papers forum between myself FUGWB and a fundi nutter called Phil1.6. These people are so brainwashed that they can not even stay on topic or say any anything relevant to the OP without some stupid religious bullshit.

Fundi Nutter Phil1.6:
Well, then, it appears that you opened the door for Van's alleged off-topic "digression" (and my digressive response) by posting under the wrong category.

From the linked article:
http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2008/04/04/o...mericans_yet/?page=2

Some scientists remain deeply dubious about the significance of the fossil feces.

Anthropologist Gary Haynes of the University of Nevada, Reno, noted that the Paisley Caves served as the Stone Age equivalent of a public toilet. "The rock shelter was used for thousands of years by Native Americans urinating, sweating, defecating, and otherwise depositing their DNA in the sediments . . . the presence of DNA in the coprolites may be the result of contamination" from a later period, he said.

Haynes and other skeptics also suggested that the Paisley Caves excrement may be that of wolves or wild dogs, not people.

One's beliefs regarding the origins of man are underpinned by, and rooted in, one's religious faith. When one summarily dismisses the record of God's Word, one does not exit the realm of religion, but merely adopts another religious belief system that will bend to one's own faith, be that faith agnosticism, atheism, or whatever.

None of us was present when the alleged feces were allegedly deposited in the caves -- not the scientists nor the archeologists, not you, not Van, not I; therefore, any conclusions drawn are not the result of empirical scientific methodology, but a matter of faith -- be it faith in the accuracy of radiocarbon dating, DNA testing, the archeological "record" or the record of Holy Writ.

The "experts" can't even agree as to whether the excrement was from humans, wolves or dogs, yet you post their admitted "theories" (beliefs) as "news" -- and then tell others to keep their beliefs to themselves? That simply proves that even atheists and agnostics can be hypocrites. Whatever happened to the PC virtues of tolerance and diversity?

The alternative Forum category is "Religion," not "religion/superstition" as you suggest. Perhaps Shaun should create a "Superstition" category and move your "news" post into it.

My Reply:
Oh piss off and take your invisible friends with you.

Religion is in fact based on SUPERSTITION.

Your tripe and whineing is not suprising, you can even formulate a comment without some sort of religious nonsense can you? You can not just post a "oh, but there is this" you just have to get all shook up and raddled about it. Make a commet relevent to the OP with out some lame ass bible babble.

It seems people around still think that some repect has to be given to their religous ideaoloy/invisible friends, not the case anymore. That, like all religions, is a myth.

-- That is the biggest load of crap I have read, utter rubbish. ATHESIM IS NOT A RELIGION and has NOTHING to do with FAITH!

1. You have my sympathies
No-one has attempted to discuss the article you posted - just their bizarre obsessions with Iron Age creation myths, which, as you say, belong in their 'Religion' forum (you'd think they'd be grateful for having one, given there are many there. It's not as if there's one for 'History', or 'Science'). And the only other reply you've got to a science-related article was the same nutter saying "The End Of The World Is Nigh!" :banghead:

They have there "religious nuttery" forum, but it is always like this. They are so intimidated by people that do not have invisible friends that when I do make post, they freak out.

They can not make a comment based on the OP nor can the stick to the fucking topic.

It is bad enough that the forum is quite short of anything interesting, it is dull void of religious nuttery and I am quite frankly sick of it. 'They' are not the only ones that live here and Non-theist need to know that there is a place for them in the community and on the local papers forum.

I asked the one dude that runs the MB if he would please add an Atheist/Agnostics forum and he told me that "I see where that would be a good idea, but I also see where it might cause some problems." Problems for whom?? you might get some "evil" email or some bitching on the board...big fucking deal.:grr::grr::grr::grr:

2. Sounds like an ad for a breakfast cereal.
O! Those Fundy Bastards!

O! Those Fundy Bastards!

Chocolate frosted Fundy Bastards stay crunchy in milk.

In the 1980s there was an ad for Golden Grahams which was basically a parody of the song O, Those Golden Slippers. Reminds me of that.

3. Never argue with a crazy person.
Just blank out the idiot and keep the science discussion going with other people who are interested in science and hope the board gets a moderator soon.

Moderated bulletin boards are great. The mods can move or delete posts that don't belong on them, like god garbage on any board not specifically devoted to god garbage.
