Really now, which country posed a bigger threat to our troops and our

4. A clarification to my post
Okay, there were really two points implied there.

First point:
France, according to Repigs, is a country full of Surrender Monkeys (yet they have contributed soldiers to our actions). Yet the US forces steamrolled over the country that "had weapons of mass destruction/chemical weapons/biological weapons". And we have yet to find any evidence of such weapons. Would France have actually been in the position to put up a better fight (despite the Right's idea of their strength) than Iraq did?

Second point:
Iraq/Saddam Hussein was sitting there, in the middle of the Middle East. In the way of us getting "our oil" (freepers' words). But was a voice of reason (France) more of a threat to us (read: neocons/Bush Admin) getting our way?
