I love flight sims, first-person shooters and the like, but right now I just feel the need to build. The problem is that there aren't any really good building games out there these days. Sim City Societies was roundly panned, City Life didn't get great reviews either, and The Sims 3 (which of course has the whole house and neighborhood building thing down) isn't coming out for about another six weeks). I'm really jonesing to improve somebody's virtual quality of life and leave a virtual legacy full of virtual monuments to my virtual greatness. Or at least I'd like to design a bitchin' new house on The Sims 3.

At the moment I guess I'm full of computer game ennui.

1. Bust out Pharoahs or Zeus or Emperor.
This guy needs to sell some of those friggin' grapes piling up, or make some wine pronto!

You could probably find them all together for dirt cheap. I always thought they were far better than the Sim City games, which always seemed stale and lifeless to me.
