Pray for the voters! Mob Mentality: Compare and Contrast

Whenever Barack was campaigning during the primaries and he mentioned Hillary's name and the crowd booed (that's as bad as it got, btw) he would tell the crowd the boos weren't necessary and would ask them to stop.

However, with the McCain/Palin rallies they are letting their VILE HATEFUL ambitions ratchet up the masses with their rhetoric. They choose to condone this behavior, by NOT asking the crowds to stop it. They claim to be christians, however, by condoning this behavior I question their credentials for their "love of jesus" because I don't believe Jesus would condone this mob mentality.


What concerns me the most is election day.


Will these same hateful people be targeting voters?.?.? :scared:


I'll be working at my precinct all day November 4 I'm a Precinct Chair, and will not be able to document whether this behavior will be carried over to the voters.


I pray to all the gods and goddesses that I am wrong but I'm starting to get "that" feeling in my gut. And after witnessing the Brook Brothers Riot in '00, I'm concerned about what could happen on election day.

I was beginning to wonder if there was something the matter with me :-)

I like the idea of voting early, however, in Tarrant County that means there will only be one method of voting machines DRE's. :grr: No paper trial. The TCDP is instructing everyone to vote early.

I did talk with an election official the other day and if I understood her correctly she said it was a State law that Texas had to provide both types of machines for the GE. I also asked her as a Precinct Chair if I could suggest voters use the machines with a paper ballot and she told me that I couldn't, otherwise it could be construed as voter intimation:shrug:

I'm not sure if I had someone outside just telling people that paper ballots will provide the best way to audit a recount if the need should arise.

3. Yes, it really does show the difference not only between the two campaigns...

but also between the two candidates. What you describe about Obama is what I like most about him -- he seems to have real heart and real empathy. I don't think that he did this just so that he would get credit for it but rather because he refuses to condone hatred in any shape or form.
