~February 2011~ Visionary Intuition & Dreaming Thread!
Edited on Wed Feb-02-11 02:47 PM by FirstLight
So much happening right now, it's hard to believe the winter is still so strongly upon us. But, under the ice & snow, the seeds are beginning to awaken. And though we can't yet see the grass...it *is* still alive, just sleeping...

This month, I wanted to share my home town view with you all...here is the winter sunrise on Lake Tahoe
Where we are still deep in the icy grip of the season
I know many of you are experiencing some ice-challenges as well this winter...
at least for most of you, spring will begin to show up by march/april! we usually don't see it here till may/june!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~
we welcome Brighid, keeper of the flame, bringer of dreams, and so much more at this time of year...
for those interested in further reading and an awesome picture that i can't figure out how to post ;)
see here: http://www.goddessineden.com/GoddessGuidance.html

and yes, we are all eager for a year of the Rabbit, since the Tiger of 2010 was narly to say the least
and the Dragon, coming in 2012 may not be a picnic either...
The Iron Rabbitt It is not the size of this animal that makes sense for the whole year, but its inner nature. It looks like we've got quite sophisticated period with gracious manners and sensitivity. This 2011 year of the white Rabbit your may pin hopes on your sense of intuition. But don't be impatient or be in harry, in 2011 year of the Rabbit without concentration you will fail.
this is *so* Burning Man, I had to share too ;)

And just for good measure, I am reminded this month os the White Rabbitt of Alice in wonderland- and in the Matrix, too
so let us see where the year leads us, eh?

.....and, seeing where we are in the great cycle of things, isn't it interesting that he is so concerned with "Time" ;)

1. Personal dream -- 50 donuts
Edited on Wed Feb-02-11 02:54 PM by Sanity Claws
I'm serious. I woke up in the middle of the night saying "50 donuts" and thinking what a great password that would be. Then I thought maybe I could make the password, "50donuts50." No one would figure that one out.

BTW, I do not eat donuts.

2. Thanks, FL!
What a great page with Brigid information--it's one of the only places where I've seen Brigid described as a warrior. When I had my first dream of her, two Imbolcs ago, she appeared to me as a warrior, and when I analyzed the dream afterward, I kept thinking "That's not right..." It took a lot of hunting to find any reference to her as a warrior goddess; most of the time she's described as goddess of the hearth.

And, may I also say, WANT those dresses! Drooooool. :D :hi:

3. isn't that picture of her scrumptious?
I was told just last month when we did our "year ahead" readings in my meditation/intuition class that one or more of my guides is leaving and another big one is coming in...I totally thought "Brighid" in that moment.
To me, she is the Irish version of Freya...who was also a warrior goddess, as well as a goddess of love and light.
And deep inside me is that luscious looking goddess, looking all glorious with the amber hair and the green dress,
;) you know it! ;)

5. Yes! I loved both pics!
And by the way that is the way she appeared to me--long, very curly reddish hair--both times I saw her.

6. The "this is not good enough" energy/discomfort with the Old, of 2010
is now in contact with enough energy to bring about the changes we have been wanting, itching for. Remember, Change means "something different", hopefully better, that you've been wanting/working for. This can mean that the old falls away. Let it go and grasp the happiness of making your life better. I reassure you that this is an absolute and a positive trend. How much goodness do you want? All you have to do is work for it, work well, and as FL posted, concentrate to establish/maintain it. "Sustainability" :)

Don't let the rumblings of change deter you. Don't let the actual process of change (the falling away of the old) discomfit you into fear or stasis. Keep going with your positive goals, with your energy and intent. You -are- building something better (with some of us, it requires the manifestation in varying degrees of that which must go, in order that we may be happy. Luckily, some of it is so old that we can pat it on the head and smile at it, and it goes away. Deeper healing with our self-relationships are ongoing with myself and others; self-forgiveness, self-work, integrity, etc.).

Again, 2011 is about enough manifestation of Change for it to be visible as a trend, as The Trend. It goes somewhere beautiful, if we keep at it and stay in the positive!

7. I have been iced in since Tuesday.
This weather has been incredible, and we didn't even get the worst of it here in north Texas. Doesn't look like there's much hope of a thaw until Saturday at the earliest. Throw in a random plumbing emergency (a pipe fell loose under the house; we've been without water most of the day) and my family & I are more than a little stir crazy at this point.

Despite the stress, it hasn't been too terribly bad. We managed to get the pipes fixed and have running water again. I haven't had to deal with Superbowl (and crazy ice) traffic in Dallas, even if I did have to miss work for it. We have enough food and milk to see us through to the weekend, when hopefully we'll be able to make it out to a store for critical supplies. Our house hasn't been hit by rolling blackouts, so everyone has managed to stay warm.

And I got to watch the birds.

We're way out in the country, so there's a lot of wildlife that stops by, especially songbirds. We've been putting out fresh water and seed for them daily, and the wee critters couldn't be more thankful for it. Robins, cardinals, blue jays, sparrows, wrens, finches... at one point we counted over 40 birds in the front yard alone! It makes me feel good to see them and know that they've got a safe haven to come to.

Today we even saw a new visitor to the yard: a red-winged blackbird. The poor fellow looked like he was in shock at first, but once he got some food and unfrozen water into himself he perked right up and started hopping around with the others. We'll be keeping an eye and an ear out for him in the future. :)

8. Welcome, Saokymo! Haven't seen you around before. Hope
you'll like it here. We're mostly harmless, full of love and compassion, and you'll never find a better group.

I've been vigilant about feeding and watering the birds, too, and they seem especially grateful for the "heated" birdbath.

Glad you got your pipe fixed and that you have plenty of food to tide you over. :hi:

10. Thank you for the welcome!
I've been around for a wee bit, but I tend to lurk a lot before saying anything. :)

Well this morning we woke up to another 8 inches of snow on the ground with more still coming out of the sky. This weather is certainly pretty in its own right, but I'm quite ready for it to go away now. With any luck I'll be able to take my kid outside to play in the snow a bit later this afternoon. He's feeling every bit as cooped up as the rest of us.

On the bright side, our red-winged blackbird stopped in again after I refilled the bird feeders. He even brought a buddy with him today! At least the birds are happy through all of it.

to the month. I am a rabbit, 1951. I do not understand it all, much evades me. I have many of the characteristics, yet many that are confusing. Any insight? Anyone?

Thank you, FirstLight for this, and all, you do! I love the photos!

12. personal dream ....
woke up this morning and had a long 'sleep in sunday morning' dream...

after just clearing my life and emotional and personal space of a very toxic relationship that has been lingering for almost 2 years... i met someone this morning in my dream!

blonde...cute, fave build...like a viking kinda... he was connected somehow to a friend's sister who recently got married, cuz i saw her and her hubby there...and they are all good people and very 'aware'...
he was really engaging me, and even said from a spirit level that the guy i just cleared from was NOT really supposed to be in the spiritual group i was in, that he was not at that level...
hmmm...interesting

i am going to a chinese new year party/chamber mixer this tuesday, so maybe there's something to that old addage...close a door, and another opens.

:D i want someone who really likes me for me, and who thinks I am better than sliced bread! yeah!

14. Couple of things I asked in meditation yesterday generated interesting responses.
2/6/11, time: 8:00 p.m.

Q: When will the website Free Republic go under? A: March of 2013. (Boo, hiss. Here's hoping Freeperville bites it long before then.)

Q: When will the next period of DU.com name change amnesty take place? A: March 2011. (Yes, I know the Administrators have said we won't be doing this until after the next election. I post what I get.)

15. Just because I'm not posting many predictions does not mean that I'm suddenly incapable.
Some (not on ASAH) are rattling about, that it's a fluke. Please to correlate my two "what to expect" posts regarding 2010 and 2011's trends.

Ahem...Tunisia, Egypt...etc. I'm just not in the business of "Look at that! I was right again!" each and every time. And I am, as indicated on my blog, only interested in supporting an indication of Trends so that even the most jaded might eventually realize that I'm telling the truth about 2012 so far as I have seen it and confirmed it in others' work, often those who are far more advanced than myself. Jut adding my 2 millivolts to the overall circuit. And to desperately mix metaphors, that the News is Good. Sigh...if you have to dismiss six publicly posted, uneditable earthquake predictions, some combined with volcanism, and some other correct predictions, then, you have to dismiss them. Belief is like that, you can believe whatever makes you happiest. Ahem.

I might as well use this space as an update. Manifestation is becoming ever more advanced and powerful. A decision with energy and follow-up, produces. Manifestation does not always over-ride individual/national/global karma and incarnational blueprints, but can increase these in the interest of their clearing. If there are unresolved issues in your life, including ommision regarding self-integrity, they may show up ever more powerfully =as opportunities= to See and Change. Yeah, I don't like it either :hi: Suffice to say, Choice is ever more powerful. Giving Up on a fruitless direction becomes ever so constructive. And putting your time, energy, and intent into positive directions, ever more powerfully beautiful.

Peace.

17. another telling dream, personal
So after just cutting the ex boyfriend/whatever out of my life for the lasyt time and deciding it is something not healthy for me. I had a weird dream about him the other night...we had had sex and I was worrying about how i was going to justify it to my friends after ending it and then going back just for something physical, like 'it was just the one time' thing...
and then he was trying to give me something, trying to make an overture of something more - like a fruit basket...but it was rotten, or like flowers, but they were full of bugs...ew!
(...there was something more, but the phone rang and woke me up and it dissolved...)
i thought it was an interesting subconscious reminder that even sex wasn't a good enough reason to compromise myself...and that whatEVER he would try to give to me, would be inherently BAD or yukky...

iiinnnnteresting....

18. I dreamed my home was over a lava vent that was about to blow
not in an volcano or earthquake zone in real life and the house was nothing like the one I live in although it felt like it was mine and familiar. in my dream it is ready to go off like the yellowstone caldera did ages ago only instead of a miles wide area it was a very small spot under the edge of the foundation of the house and in my dream we called it a lava vent. There was an evil man there - he practically had the worlds EVIL floating above him - and a good woman - also like wise practically labeled as such. He was dark and a little scruffy looking and radiated Badness and the woman was blond and pretty and looked a bit like a friend of mine who is very sweet woman who grew up in a fundy household and still coping with the after effects. Anyway the lava vent is about to blow and it will cause massive country wide, maybe world wide catasrophe (yet somehow I was right there next to it glowing menacingly and all and it even passed my mind in my dream how could I be near something so fiercly hot without burning up much less the house and all...) So the Evil Man, the Good Woman & I are all in the basement all need to do something to stop this catastrophe but they don't want to work together. I insist and say we need to hold hands and send/work with the energy there. They don't like it so I stand in the middle with the man on my left and woman on my right. They refuse to close the circle by holding hands with each other so I badger them until the woman puts her other hand over my left one holding the bad man's hand. We start working the energy and I get sent flying across the basement. They say they didn't feel much but it's fixed and want to leave - which it is NOT - and my Mom appears and I tell her to gather our cats some place safer so I can try to fix the lava vent before it is too late without worrying about my furkids. She gets some, I grab the rest and shove them in a room in a nearby house or shed and tell her to stay with them while praying if the thing explodes we all will be instantly incinerated. I go back to the basement and get the other two people to try again using the same position as before and start to work with the energy which felt so intense in the dream once again and then before I see if it worked or not I am in a totally different dream none of which I can recall.

19. I had a similar dream a few weeks ago
There was a hole in the front yard -- not a volcano; "lava vent" is really the best term for it -- that was belching heat and smoke, though none of the surrounding vegetation was even scorched. I was taking pictures of it for a class report (I'm not in school) until the camera overheated and the dream faded into something else. The dream really stuck out in my mind because I could actually feel the heat from the hole.

The hole wasn't about to explode (but there was an underlying sense of anxiety about having a volcano in the front yard) and I didn't interact with anybody to try and seal the hole. I did notice that there was an extra tree in the yard that isn't really there in reality, though.

So, erm... I don't know what to make of the volcano bit. The Evil Man and Good Woman sound like you're trying to bridge the gap between two extremes (polar opposites, refusing to hold hands) and taking on more than you can handle just yet (being thrown across the room). My two cents on it, at least. ^_^;

20. There are some tell tale signs that you are living in
an volcanic area. I live in the caldera of an ancient volcano. I live close to Pismo Beach. Some of the signs are sulfur hot springs in the area and those little cone shaped hills. Here we call them morros like in Morro Bay, which is up the road from where I live. If a volcano should become active though there would be a lot of warning signs like earthquakes and steam vents and stuff coming up before the main event. However your dream seems to be more metaphorical and describing a portal into an evil place that appears to be similar to our conventional belief of what Hell is like. It could be a warning that some people will be mean to you or try to make you miserable. Try to figure out who those people in your dream represent in your real life.

21. I am still getting vibes about a major governmental scandal.
Edited on Wed Feb-16-11 12:54 PM by BlueIris
Curiously, I'm getting that while both political parties will take a hit, the folks who will sustain the most damage will be the corporate media. Why? Because they failed to inform the public about the "new" revelations we're about to learn. It will be hard for the media to justify its obvious complicity with our corrupt powers after the scandal has unfurled.
