This whole era is one for the astrological textbooks! Aieee.
I used to practice professionally. Wherever Pluto goes, that area of life is shaken to the core. In Western mythology, Pluto was the god of the Underworld. He oversees everthing that happens in the lower realms. Volcanos, earthquakes, deep drilling. In the material space, that means treasures stored in the ground. Minerals, ore/gold/jewels hidden in the ground. Remember 'Treasure Maps' from pirate stories? There were no banking cartels to shift things around the world, so valuables were often buried. Pluto also has financial (global capital, mass media) and psychological (control/sex issues) associations. Capricorn, where Pluto now sits, is an Earth sign. Cap is the sign of authority, patriarchy, and birthright/lineage. Anybody see those themes being kicked up? And it won't stop for a while.
More goodies: Saturn is the original ruling planet of Capricorn. While Pluto drama is being kicked up, Saturn has been facing off in a 2-year opposition to Uranus - the rebel, the overthrower of old authority. They will remain linked in that formation for some time to come. Neither side has definitely trounced the other yet. That face-off was EXACT, POWERFUL for the first time on November 4, 2008. Anybody remember what might have been going on at that time?
Heads up for the last week of June. Between the Solstice June 21st and some eclipses on the 26th and 27th - all hell could break loose. Just ride it out guys, things are clearing. In the long run, we'll be fine.
