I bought a new monitor about a month ago and and set it up as my primary display but on the right with display # 2 on the left and extended my desktop right to left. Now I've switched them with the primary on the left (better for working) but can't, for the life of me, get my desktop back to a normal left to right orientation. My sync options are only for V & H. Isn't there an orientation setting somewhere? I can't remember. I rearrange my displays a lot but for some reason I've confused this time. My OS is Windows 2000 Pro. Can anyone tell me what I'm overlooking? Thanks!
Select "Properties' from the pop-up menu. Select the "Settings" tab.
You should find what you need there. (This is on XP, but I'm pretty sure it was the same in Windows 95 and 98, so it's likely to work the same way in 2000.)
just couldn't find anything for display orientation besides the V & H. Now I've swapped graphics cards and it helps. I'm back to almost where I was when I started still with right to left orientation and primary display on the right but now I at least have the new monitor in front of me. I can work this way. I guess I'll have to figure this out another day when I'm not so tired. Any new ideas would be welcome, though.
