How can I extricate myself from mylife?
I performed a Google search of myself just to see what came up. The number two result was a website called mylife.com. I took a look at the cached page and it links me to my husband's ex-wife (whom I've never met) and a brother I have not spoken to in years.

I'm not a member of mylife.com, and I don't want to be! My husband is on there, too, and he has never used a computer in his life.

Is there any way to remove myself, and my husband, from this website without having to give a credit card number? :argh:

1. Probably not
But why did you mention credit card number? Are they blackmailing you?

Ace, I dunno what to say except this is the payoff for wanting to be online. Your life is not your own anymore if you ever put your own name on the net.

Mylife seems to be aa rip-off search business. IMO all you can hope for is the site falls into obscurity after a time.

Feel for ya, mate. We don't need our private lives spread over the net. Moral of the story is to stay anonymous and trust no one. Even ex-spouses.

3. After a decent night's sleep, I see that you don't necessarily need a credit card.
But in order to "claim" your profile, you need to send a copy of either a government-issued ID (such as a driver's license) or a utility bill, then you have to actually *join* in order to hide the profile!

I don't get this at all; Veromi and Intelius already exist, so who needs this mylife shit? :grr:
