Sending DVR signal to second TV ?
wireless? I can do it if I have to run cable (prefer not to)
I have looked at several products but I don't know if the picture quality is any good?

http://www.x10.com/affiliate_pages/2005-q3/wireless_video_sender_directv_tivo_x10.html

We have a wireless router for the house so we can use the IPOD touch, Mac,laptop whatever.

I have to be able to watch one show in the family room (kid cartoons) and the DVR on the second TV in the den (English football)but control the DVR remotely in the den as well. I believe that I can only view previously recorded shows on the second TV but I am not 100% sure on that?

I am an idiot when it comes to these things and not technical but my wife is so she should be able to cope. I may end up paying for a second DVR but would prefer not to.

Thank you for any suggestions!

1. I had one called a VCR Rabbit some years ago..
Transmitter/receiver setup. It worked Ok as long as you weren't too far away from the transmitter. It was a bit fussy to tune but they probably have gone digital these days..

Also had a radio remote extender, took the infrared from your remote, turned it into radio waves which were sent to the room where the VCR was and then turned back into IR to control the VCR (or whatever).

If you read the instructions neither item is all that hard to set up/figure out.
