I need help with a problem , please
I had trouble with my old computer , the screen for the mother board popped up and I could not get past it to reboot . I got a new battery and installed it on the motherboard and all is fine now .

Problem is I can't change the settings for the pixels , they are on 640 x 480 with 16 on the color , it was on 600 x 800 with 256 color or around 256 . each time i go into settings the settings go back to the 640 x 480 .

It's a 3D Force B-32Plus/ B-32 TV NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 M64 jaton corp 11/29 /2001 . the card was changed then and I don't have a CD for the driver . it says the device is working proper , I went to run advanced and wizard and it asks for a CD .I'm not certain but I think it may be the driver that is the trouble . My hard drive was clicking before and I could not type in posts I just got a string of x's . after the battery everything works but the settings .

Do you think it's a driver issue and if so where do I get the CD or down load for one .

I am not real savy , I have replaced fans and added programs and a CD burner but this I am stuck on . It's 98SE .

1. Sounds like a driver ...

You can download NVidia drivers from their website. I'd try that first, and if it doesn't work, move on from there.
