Vegetarian marshmallows? Two out of six children are now vegetarians.
We 've adapted pretty well, but a family Christmas tradition is 24 hour salad.

It's just not the same without little marshmallows, but not even the vegetarians would eat the last batch of vegetarian marshmallows I bought. Anybody know of a good vegetarian marshmallow or a substitute?

1. There are recipes out there to make your own.
I just don't think I would go to the trouble. Maybe you can make half of the salad with regular marshmallows and half without any?

4. That would be my suggestion
There simply aren't any good vegetarian substitutes for some things.

Marshmallow is one.

I've never managed a vegan souffle, either, and gawd knows I've tried.

7. Veggie parmesean is quite good on spaghetti but won't melt.
Tofu cream cheese is also good, I like it better than the real thing but it's pricey so I don't eat it often.

The rest of them, not so much. They've improved greatly over the years and I guess they're better than nothing for the Jonesing vegan, but they're not cheese and never will be.

many vegans swear by it:
