what is Michigan comfort food?
I have an acquaintance who is a non-cook yet yearns for some comfort food from her home state of Michigan. Anyone know what that might be? She mentioned what I think must be the old-fashioned "hamburger gravy" served over mashed potatoes. I'd like to make something she'd enjoy.

Also, some Faygo pop and Better Made potato chips! I'm originally from Detroit, and those things mean "Michigan comfort food" to me!

Edit: Oops, how could I forget Vernor's ginger ale?
