3. Hell, no. Why go to the trouble of mixing the ingredients when the people
at Bisquick have already done it for you?

It's not like you're serving canned enchiladas or something like that.

6. My sister-in-law loves Peach Cobbler made with Bisquick topping
I grew up on it, too.. biscuits & shortbread. It's a quick and easy way to bake up something homemade.

8. I love Bisquick pancakes but Mr. Longhorn says he prefers
Hungry Jack buttermilk pancakes. I bought Bisquick the last time but since he makes the pancakes, I'll let him go back to Hungry Jack. :)

9. I get a box of it about every third year
because I love Bisquick pancakes for some bizarre reason. I get a small box, make two batches of pancakes to feed the trans fat Jones, and the rest of the box usually gets thrown away when the fat finally goes rancid six months later.

Healthy pancakes just don't taste the same, although I usually live on those.

I should just make my own "butter Bisquick" and keep it in the freezer now that I have a smaller Cuisinart instead of the industrial job I recycled to a soup kitchen.

I'm due to buy another box of it next year, though. We'll see how it goes after that.

10. Ha! I have one word to say: madeleine.
Recherchez le temps pendu.

If you ever go all natural-like, it's easy enough to make and store biscuit mix.

13. By my new dietary rules a la "In Defense of Food", I don't think it
qualifies as "food". I know it USED TO have trans fats, not sure if it still does. Plus, I am pretty sure it has unpronounceable ingredients and more than five ingredients, and would not be recognized by my great-great-grandmother as food. LOL

FWIW.

17. I can make my own homemade baking mix from scratch, and
use lard, which is perfectly ok. Nothing wrong with lard in moderation, just like butter. It's liquid at body temperature.

16. That's the way we're
eating now...exactly. We love it, too! :hi: I haven't bought a box of Bisquick in years, haven't even looked at one so I'm not sure what the ingredients are, not even listed on their website.
