Do you remember caramel marshmallows?
From time to time, DH mentions how much he'd like to get the caramel marshmallows he remembers from when he was a little boy. I recall them too but I don't long for them like he does! As we recall, they came in a bag just like regular big marshmallows, but these had a caramel coating on them. I've googled and tried to find a source but all I can find is either recipes to make them or individually wrapped "candies". These were not thick and sticky with caramel on the outside, just a very thin skin of caramel. Okay, since it would have been in the late 60's or early 70's, it may not have even been REAL caramel but they sure were tasty?

Does anybody else remember these? They must have been made by Campfire or Kraft, unless there is another company from that era that I have forgotten.

3. No, these weren't that thick with caramel!
Although those do look delicious. These were sold in a bag on the shelf by the regular marshmallows at Safeway!

6. I used a Martha Stewart recipe last year
I'll try to find it. They were delicious and they really weren't hard to make. I coated them in chocolate.
