2. I can get distracted for HOURS reading recipe reviews on that site!
Edited on Thu Nov-17-05 07:46 PM by Shakespeare
I find they fall into three primary categories:

1. The "me too!" comments (loved/hated a dish).

2. The reviews where they tell about all the things they changed in the recipe and did differently and then complained about how awful it turned out (uh, DUH).

3. The really helpful reviews with tweaks to make the recipes even better (a tiramisu recipe comes immediately to mind). I've picked up some brilliant tips in those reviews!

6. Oh, I love the #2s!
"This recipe sucks. I didn't have ladyfingers, so I used Vanilla Wafers, and I substituted applesauce for fresh roasted apples, and Cool Whip and Hi-C "Ecto Cooler" for whipped cream and brandy, and I think I might have used paprika instead of cinnamon, but I don't see where the problem might be. I'm never going to make a recipe from this poster ever again!"
