Well finished my conversation with Adobe
:banghead:

Well did you move from windows to mac?

No, the drive was changed at the Mac store, and your license catastrophically failed

Breaking up

Repeated three times what the issue was

He still asked, so you are moving from WIN to Mac...

Again repeated myself

Are you on the internet?

Yes...

Bring IE up... (I think I covered several times that I AM ON A MAC)

So after twenty minutes he finally gives me the link to the script to COMPLETELY remove this tentacle ridden thing I lease from them... and tells me I think you are mac savy...

Well reinstalling now, after really having to go to guts to remove this piece of crap. If it does not work. Flux is for me... I am done...

There are days... I really wonder...

1. Well that's it, no matter what is done
my lease from Adobe has been cancelled.

Hence... I am done.

Used their un-istanller to FULLY REMOVE all of it from the machine.

Will be using Flux from now on.

Oh and they may be like Word... and their dominance is great. but I am done trying to run a program that will simply not run. And this is not Snow Leopard, this is Adobe, and the way they do bidness. Now that said, at least I got the script to remove all the tentacle arms from the machine. And trust me, as the script ran there were snippets of code in weird places.

I should have learned a while ago. having software from major companies does come with a major risk. Oh well. Now to learn a new scripting program, and hells bells, FLUX does what I need, and the code is clean, so there...

Will put my useless copy in the closet... oh well, ce la vie.

And the people who work for them I fear have no clue about Mac anyway.

2. The only thing I have left is PS: Elements 6.
I finally got CS2 completely out of there. It was slowing down the other systems. I tried to get Acrobat reader from their site, but it said there's no version for my computer a 2006 iMac Leopard/Intel.:eyes:

PS:E still sucks at the camera RAW plug ins. It's still finds all my shots unreadable and wants to convert them to Photoshop format (doubles the file size). I think I'll just go with Nikon Capture next time. It works as well, handle's Nikon RAW format natively, which is an easy fix for an owner of a Nikon camera. Adobe's shit is too expensive and slow running compared to all my other software. Hell, even iPhoto's small bit of adjusters is all I need for most of my shots.
