New iBooks coming soon?
Edited on Sat Jul-23-05 06:59 PM by reprobate

New iBooks, Mac minis coming soon? GeekCoffee speculates that Apple's upgrades to their iBook and Mac Mini lines should be available to consumers starting July 26t. New iBook part numbers in Apple's database are showing up at $999 and $1299 price points, while it appears that the $1499 model has been dropped, most likely because you can get a 12" PowerBook for the same or less

I was about to replace my toshiba notebook with an ibook. Think I'll wait till next week now.

1. Could be
I'm reading the same info on ThinkSecret and AppleInsider. It is speculated that the 14" iBook might go to widescreen. That's a long shot though since I see widescreen as a perk for the PowerBook line. So if the 14" goes to widescreen, than the 12" PB goes widescreen, does this than mean new form factors for the PB's? Is it too early for a form factor rev before the BIG change to Intel? We'll know the lowdown on Tuesday...
