4. If you're into hail, you have to see this...

This is an amazing video of a hailstorm and the hail splashing into a backyard pool. Quite the sight!

5. That is incredible (and the spectators are so eloquent!)
I wonder why comments have been disabled on that vid. Excessive use of the phrase, Oh My GOD?

10. Disabled comments are more readable than Youtube's average, at least. (nt)

7. That video was shot about 3 miles from us
We watched as the hail storm began, May 16th...it looked like a thousand pitchers were hurling fastballs through the trees. The hailstones were about that size and the winds were gusting that fast.

We had to have our roof replaced, as did about 80% of the houses on our street. Some people had hail go right through the shingles and planks, and straight into the house.

6. I believe it! I lived in Dallas for about 15 years. North Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska are commonly
...known as "tornado alley" and the home of some of the most violent and severe thunderstorms, hailstorms and ice storms. We had a hailstorm one year with golf ball to baseball-sized hail. It punched holes in the roof of my two story condo and knocked out every window on the second floor. Oh yes, I believe!

11. Geeze! These could kill someone.
I'd hate to be out in a hailstorm when those things start falling. I wouldn't be shocked to learn that those things could easily break bones. Imagine getting hit in the head with that thing!
