Rosendahl endorses Obama, cites stance on gay issues (Gay LA Councilman)

Councilman Bill Rosendahl, who is touted as the first and only openly gay member of the Los Angeles City Council, has endorsed Senator Barack Obama (D-Il) for President of the United States.

In a press release that was distributed by Rosendahl's private campaign organization, he said "I am convinced he is the candidate who is most genuinely committed to fighting for our civil rights."

Rosendahl represents Council District 11, which stretches from Mulholland to LAX and from the 405 freeway to the ocean.

1. LA is a strange place

I was reading pro Obama piece in the mag "IN La". Where the endorser actually made a plus out of the Mc Clurkin affair. Now I'm sorry I recycled the mag. It was wierd. It sounded OK if you have no idea of the particulars of said controversy, as many are, being that it was not covered in the media. Sorry to be so unclear.
