Stonewall Democrats Appoint New Leader

The National Stonewall Democrats on Wednesday announced the appointment of Eric Stern to serve as Executive Director of the organization.

Stern currently serves as Director of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Outreach at the Democratic National Committee, a position he has served in since July 2003. The appointment, approved unanimously by the organization's board of directors, is effective as of March 01, 2005.

Stonewall Democrats, the LGBT wing of the Democratic Party, has more than 90 local chapters across the country.

the Stonewall group there is great. I worked in LV during the election. The Stonewalls threw us welcome parties, put up volunteers in their homes and kicked some serious ass stumping for Kerry/Edwards!
