Boston rally: immigration is a "queer issue"
QueerToday.com will host a rally in Copley Square on Saturday, July 10 at 12 p.m. to protest a visit from Arizona Governor Jan Brewer. Brewer OK’d a tough immigration law that makes it a crime for aliens to be in the state without carrying registration documents. The legislation has garnered criticism from those who believe it would inspire racial profiling.

The website is encouraging LGBTQ people to attend the rally, calling immigration a "queer issue."

"Discriminatory laws keep us down, tear our families apart, and subject us to harm," an announcement read.

LGBTQ attendees are encouraged to meet up at the Wendy’s at 551 Boylston St. Point person Brian Rainy is available at [email protected].
