1. Ellison's, of course. . .

Battle Royal

By Ralph Ellison

It goes a long way back, some twenty years. All my life I had been looking for something, and everywhere I turned someone tried to tell me what it was. I accepted their answers too, though they were often in contradiction and even self-contradictory. I was naive. I was looking for myself and asking everyone except myself questions which I, and only I, could answer. It took me a long time and much painful boomeranging of my expectations to achieve a realization everyone else appears to have been born with: That I am nobody but myself. But first I had to discover that I am an invisible man!

Sorry. Not really the forum for this. But given the title of one of modern American literature's defining works, what else could I do?

2. Since I've only seen one of the three, I can't really vote on this one.
I need to get ahold of Milk. Just didn't have the time and/or money when it was in theaters. :(

3. I haven't voted yet because I can't choose between Milk and Wild Zero.
I like how dreamy Brokeback Mountain is, but Milk is punk rock, and Wild Zero has zombies.

7. Wild Zero is about a young biker who has visions from a weird rock band
who give him advice on zombie invasions. The young biker falls in love with someone different than he is used to and has difficulties with it. The movie is light hearted, but does contain some graphic zombie violence.

9. I don't remember any, but around one year has passed since I've seen it.
If you want a kinky zombie movie, rent The Stink of Flesh. You might not want to watch it with anyone who respects you.

11. Brokeback broke the mold... *and* it was an excellent film.
Milk was a good film but unsurprising; formulaic, even. The documentary about Harvey Milk ( "The Times of Harvey Milk"?) was much , much better.... and inifinitely more memorable.
