Step increases for all and the top step is getting 2%. No retro pay (first time ever) but we do have an opportunity to get a $750 bonus if we do an action plan. Don't know the details on that yet.
The best part is we have, for the first time ever, a binding contract. I never thought I would ever see the day we would get that.

The teachers in my district finally negotiated a contract. I thought since I was posting this to the Education forum that would be fairly obvious. Plus I have been posting news of our contract negotiations for nearly a year now:shrug:
We have been negotiating for a year. We have a new school board member who is an attorney and fought us at every step. It was the most complicated and bizarre contract negotiation we have ever been through. And it is finally over. Phew.
I know you've been under a lot of stress over this. I hope the contract offers you security and protection from unrealistic demands by principals, etc.!
