2. Minnesota, I believe who got into the big tourney.
I love it when these spoiled programs throw a fit on a down year and fire their coaches. It almost never marks anything but continued failure.

5. Billy, you were a rock star at A&M.
You could have named your number. You and your team were bigger than football there. But you decided to leave. And become a prick to people. Nice going.

We like your replacement. He has managed to get our team into the tournament. :) But hey, thanks for helping us out there for a few years.

6. Billy just never fit in the program

I know a lot of UK fans who bleed Blue and they didn't like Billy from the get go. There were rumors of carousing the Lexington establishments. He didn't play the aggressive running style of basketball that has been the hallmark at UK since Adolph Rupp. Billy would have been tolerated had he won the SEC but never loved. The SEC has been on the decline in basketball for the decade except for the fabulous Florida team that won 2 in a row. I know that is a huge "but"; however, it masked a general decline in the programs at most of the conference programs like UK, LSU, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State, and Tennessee. It really showed this year when not one SEC team made it out of the opening weekend.
