Penn State's Joe Paterno to retire
Edited on Wed Nov-09-11 10:51 AM by trotsky
AFTER the season ends.

IMO this is a joke. He gets to leave on his terms and try to look like he was but an innocent bystander who didn't know anything was wrong.

Woody Hayes was fired the morning after punching the Clemson player...

Joe on the other hand---the dude that didn't call the police after learning of the anal rape of a minor, get's to finish the season.

That's fucked up.

while making sure their football season isn't messed up. I mean, we have to keep our priorities straight,no? :sarcasm:

3. I still don't think he'll make it to the end.
I don't understand, in the light of all that has happened, how he and McQueary can stand on the sidelines this weekend. It's going to be a fucking circus.

4. How about the people at his house last night??
Treating him like he was the victim. And people are going to wear "Blue" in honor of him on Saturday?? Come on now.

12. Theo Fleury was just on ESPN talking about what his coach (Graham
James) took away from him as a child, when he was molested. The fact that people don't seem to figure the children whose lives are destroyed into consideration is sickening.

17. Paterno Should Have Been Fired
Allowing him to retire is ridiculous. Like all employees of a public school, his first duty is to protect children.

If he turned his back on this, what the hell else has he turned a blind eye to?
