In my opinion, the league doesn't need to expand. 32 teams is enough, and 33 would just add a lack of balance.

Mad reminded me of the hijinks between Oakland and San Fran fans. I have come to the conclusion that one of those teams need to move. Why does the Bay area need two teams? And good God, they play in absolute shit holes. It simply makes sense - divisions wouldn't have to be redrawn, and the nation's number 2 market would have its team.

I was once in favor of Jacksonville being moved to LA. But again, a west coast team relocating makes more sense. The Bay area has two shitty franchises. They can get along just fine with one.

1. Maybe you can convince Al Davis
Tell you what... you come to a Raider game with a big sign calling the franchise "shitty" and the Coliseum a "shit hole." If Al doesn't get the message I'm sure you will.

3. I think you made my point, Auggie
A place where you feel your life is threatened ain't a good place to be. I can take my kid to a Cowboys game and feel safe. I wouldn't dare take my kid to a Raiders' game.

Oh, and thanks for the Raiders' bullshit bravado. Fucking barbarians.

4. The Raiders in L.A. would be even worse.

5. Maybe so. But give them a decent stadium
Good security, and police the fucking hi-jinks of those turds who intimidate and threaten fans from other teams. I think a change of venue may help.

My friend Doc is originally from the Bay area. He was a helluva a car salesman, but he had to come back to Texas because his mother was very sick. Doc was in I guess one of the luxury boxes, looking down at a poor Seahawks fan getting tussled and pushed around in a section full of knuckleheads. He said he was frightened for the poor guy. Seriously, what is up with crap like that?

6. Nuh-uh.
You may not remember what life in L.A. was like with Raiderfan ruling the streets, but I do. And if the stadium goes up by the Staples Center and L.A. Live, Raiderfan will destroy the Downtown revival.

Nope. Keep the Raiders out of L.A.

8. Um, that Battle of the Bay wasn't a Raiders home game
The Raiders have the most diverse (if somewhat scanty) fan base in the entire NFL, as well as some damn good tailgating, or so I am told.

7. Well, we know that the Raiders have already tried LA and that didn't work. I think its high time
that the Yorks move the forty-whiners down to LA. I'd love to see Upton and cboy's heads explode when they heard about that!!!

11. Jacksonville makes the most sense.
They have no fan base to speak of, they lose money every year and their games are always blacked out. No point in having a team where nobody comes out to see them. I'm not a Niners fan but suggesting they move is something akin to sacrilege. They are one of the league's storied franchises. The Raiders tried the L.A. thing but it didn't work out very well. Has to be Jacksonville.

12. Give them the Bungles.
There's too many teams in the rust belt and they have one of the worst owners. Call them the Sabertooths. Done.
