Poll question: Better playoff announcers?
I am not terribly fond of any grouping of announcers in the playoffs, especially here in the LCS games.
Two networks, two different sets of announcers. So who do you like?

2. Fortunately, I killed my television years ago
However, I do recall when ABC tortured all baseball fans from coast to coast by teaming Howard Cosell and Keith Jackson for the World Series.

Man, did that ever suck.

5. I was just a kid at the time
but I sort of liked Cosell. Didn't he do the Billie Jean King/Bobbie Riggs match?

3. Tim McCarver is intensely annoying
And Buck is just :puke: inducing.

4. At least we don't have to listen to Joe Morgan talk about "the cutter"
but I always struggle to listen to McCarver felatiate Mariano Rivera the first time the Yankees get a lead. Thank god he's not doing the Yankees game tonight.

6. Ron Darling used to call Nats games.
Then they got rid of him. That should tell you something about Darling.Oy.

8. I'm not sure why the Nats keep hiring ex-Mets as announcers
They currently have Ray Knight, who while better than either Darling or that asshole Rob Dibble, isn't exactly what I call great either. Darling I found really annoying though. So did alot of other people here, apparantly

10. What I don't get..
is the Giants lead announcer, Jon Miller, is doing the ALCS on radio for ESPN instead of doing the Giants games. A similar thing happened in 2002. I doubt if Miller is happy about it. Must be something about his contract with ESPN.

12. Jon Miller might be just about my favorite baseball announcer
outside of Bob Uecker. Just one more thing to dislike the Orioles and Peter Angelos for--firing him!

17. You win. That's the correct answer
and we're lucky to have him calling most of our Giants games.

18. I wondered the same thing...I wanted to hear Jon Miller call these games
but Kruk and Kuip are always good.

14. I voted TBS because Fox is so terrible
plus you can't see the score of the game.
