Wow what an ending to the sox-o's game
Edited on Thu Jun-02-05 03:35 PM by JohnKleeb
Damn Oritz is amazing, that was a nice series, hope to see it repeated again in October perhaps. I am upset yeah but I'll happily take a split against the Red Sox since they really are one of the best teams in baseball and the repeating champions.

1. To bad what our Tigers did to the O's in Camden.
Wish Detroit could hit in that park 81 games out of the year.

2. Well its a hitter's park
The Tigers really have never played in any thing like Camden, though Tiger Stadium was home to Ty Cobb and Cobb is the best hitter ever average wise.

5. Would be nice if the Orioles made it
Ive been waiting for it since I was 11. That was a nice series truly, I just hope we make it to the playoffs or at the very least 500, yeah I have modest ambitions, not making the playoffs does that to you but I was impressed how decent the Orioles played without Brian Roberts though I want him back asap.

4. Man, what an exciting game.
I only got to see the last inning or two but I heard a lot of it on the radio.

How about Renteria laying down a bunt for a single in the 9th --- I'm liking Edgar more and more every day. Too bad for the Os, but they did get a split out of it.

Who knows? -- maybe the Royals will take care of bidness tonight. }(

7. Yeah I got home in the 7th since I worked on a project after school today
and it was tied which was like aight cool. Yeah I thought it was a gamble but a nice play to bunt on his part because that set up what happend with Oritz perfectly. I really wanted that last call but it was borderline, you know the 2-2 or was it 2-1 pitch, looked like a strike to me but it wasnt blatantly a strike nor blatantly a ball. Yeah coming off a sweep and taking a split from the Red Sox is fine with me though I wanted the 3-1 obviously and wanted a sweep going in but you cant win them all, and 32=21 is still a nice record.

Refresh two: Final, Boston 6, Baltimore 4

8. I really wanted it to be 4-3 O's
but if things had gone the way I wanted them to, a guy who hits like Oritz shouldnt have been up in the first place, they had the 8-9-1 hitters to start, ya gotta get those guys out.
