Who would ever have thought to look for a gold medal-winning goalie on craigslist? Yet, last night, there he was:

Even before the horn at GM Place officially ended the Canucks' season Tuesday night, a dejected fan placed Roberto Luongo for sale on Craigslist:

“Sulking, belligerent and grossly over-rated goaltender who can’t stop a beach ball, seeks new gig,” reads the notice posted at 8:47 p.m., as Game 6 in the NHL playoff second-round series wound down to a painful end.

The “job wanted” ad was posted with the headline “Goalie will play for pasta, hair gel and $7.5 million,” and left no doubt about who this fan blamed for the Canucks' performance Tuesday....

“You can still reach me on my hotline: Louie 1-555-SUCK.”

1. He's a good, but not great, goalie.

He doesn't seem to play that well when his team needs it the most. However, to be fair, the rest of the team looked pretty sucky last night as well, not to mention that the Hawks are just a real quality team that played very solid throughout the whole game. Luongo is part of the problem, for sure, but that team was lifeless at first, and there's no excuse for that when you're in an elimination game. That tells me there's a deeper issue than goaltending*.

*says the ex-goalie lol.
