...the other half goes to whichever unholy demon has been hitching a ride on the Dodgers' Team Jet for the last few days.

I've accepted the fact that our closer gave up 4 runs in the bottom of the ninth inning when we were 2 outs away from clinching. I've come to terms with the fact that we proceeded to lose the next four games with their magic number frozen at one.

But a sweep? To lose seven games in a row while the Wild Card WINS seven? To lose the division on the last day of the season after they've been in first place for months?

That would be a choke to end all chokes. And as decent as the Rockies are playing right now, if they do it, they won't have done it without the Dodgers helping them right along.
