Lawyer: DA seeks charges against Pierce too

Antonio Pierce is now facing a gun-possession indictment in the Plaxico Burress club shooting -- charges that could sideline him for the coming season and ultimately put him in jail.

"The DA's office has confirmed that they are going to seek charges against Antonio," the star linebacker's lawyer, Michael Bachner, told The Post yesterday.

love to know the type of clubs these people go to where they feel they need a gun, and if you need a gun, why the heck would you go there?

Not the Latin Quarter that's been around for years but the one on the east side that opened up in 2003. In 2004 a fight spilled over at a Ja Rule Holiday party where a man was fatally shot by what was believed to be associates of The Inc Records. A label Ja Rule founded.

Speaking of P. Diddy. Plaxico's lawyer is the same lawyer that won an acquittal for P. Diddy in a case where there was a room full of witnesses.

I believe the defense was able to prevent J-Lo from testifying one way or the other but they split in a highly publicized breakup on Valentine's Day the following year. I followed it somewhat. Rapper Shyne was convicted on the same charges Sean Combs(Diddy) was charged with. Basically he wouldn't testify for or against Combs whether he had guns or not and only argued his position which was that he had a gun and fired it when he was fired at using a self-defense position. But since one of the bullets accidental hit a bystander he was found guilty of reckless endangerment so with the gun possession he everything else Combs was charged with, he was found guilty and is serving 10 years but is expected to be released soon.
