sticking to the hard facts and the issues is a better tactic than pissing people off and getting them all defensive with character assassinations. Once you do that, nothing else is heard and it makes them even more entrenched in their current thinking.

but do it in this manner it also rallies their base and you have accomplished nothing except continuing to divide the country just like Bush intended.

the poster that teacher created "WORST GOVERNOR EVER" when Palin was up in Alaska filming for her Discovery Channel show. Palin marched over and confronted the neighbor about the poster - a teacher, words were exchanged (it's on youtube), and eventually Palin's obnoxious crew ripped the poster down.

So it is a tribute to the fact that Pallin can't rip down every poster she doesn't like.
