Ex-KISS guitarist Vinnie "Vincent" Cusano: Blood, Cuts and 4 Dead Dogs
Ex-KISS Guitarist -- Blood, Cuts and 4 Dead Dogs

5/23/2011 9:40 AM PDT by TMZ Staff

Former KISS guitarist Vincent Cusano -- aka Vinnie Vincent -- allegedly smacked his wife in the face and dragged her through a pile of broken glass on the night he was arrested ... and when cops arrived to the house, they found 4 dead dogs at the scene ... this according to law enforcement.

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office tells TMZ ... on May 22, Vincent's wife, Diane, arrived to the Sheriff's Office "covered in blood" and reeking of alcohol.

Cops say 44-year-old Diane told the officers how she had just escaped from the couple's Tennessee home ... after Vincent "smacked her in the face" following an argument about a "female subject was talking to." She says Vincent then "grabbed her by the hair and threw her down to the ground."

Cops dispatched officers to the home -- where they found Vincent and "four sealed containers containing deceased dogs."

3. Never heard of him- a replacement guitarist i guess
Ace Frehley, the original guitarist was/is very good though I never cared much for Kiss' music excepting a very few songs.

8. I actually loved KISS as a kid, and still think Lick It Up with Vincent is one of their best ones.
The ode to misogyny that is the song Fits Like A Glove is a massively guilty pleasure of mine, and the whole CD is almost speed metal at times (certainly their most aggressive release). But having said that, KISS at their best is still KISS. Their "music" is as shallow as it gets, pure cock-rock. Even Simmons said their music was just bubble gum for the mind. I don't mind hearing them, but I don't pretend it's great songwriting or anything. :)

9. I saw him open for Iron Maiden a thousand years ago.

The Vinnie Vincent Invasion was just so forgettable.
