Can someone recomend a book (or books) on The Troubles in Northern Ireland?
I am just completeing the first series of readings (45 books) for the field exams required for my MA in history; the subject was the English Civil War (and sundry associated issues), so I have some background on the 16th-17th century roots. I am specifically looking for 20th century issues, and probably from the 60's-to the present.

Scholarly work is fine; I am most interested in perspective and balance, so this will probably require more than one author's work (I'm guessing).

I could ask my graduate coordinator, but she is on vacation at present.
