So...I just finished "White Teeth" by Zadie Smith
and I thoroughly enjoyed it (practically couldn't put it down). I know this was her first novel, and that she has published others since.

Any opinions on what might be the best of her subsequent works (including essays) to follow up with?

2. brilliant and hilarious tale - impressive for someone so
young. Can't help on recs since I haven't read her more recent stuff.

actually I preferred it to Inheritance of Loss (which won the Pulitzer, I think.)

3. I just read the plot summary
on Wikipedia and it sounds like a very strange tale. A Jamaican Jehovah's Witness and KEVIN? :crazy:
